When did you start blogging in earnest? Which blog platform did you use 1st?

Started reluctantly in 2006 on www.acrobatusers.com/blogs/tedpadova. I say reluctantly because Adobe me to do it to keep Acrobat Users informed on new developments related to Adobe Acrobat.

My Davao Designers blog is one effort to support and promote the Silicon Gulf Coast with information and material related to graphic designers who primarily use Adobe Software.

How many other blogs do you own?

www.acrobatusers.com/blogs/tedpadova. I sit on the Advisory Committee at Adobe Systems (non-paid) to help the Acrobat user community in learning more about Adobe Acrobat.

What “offline” activities do you do to promote your blog(s)?

I speak locally at colleges, universities, and hold workshop sessions (all non-paid) to try to help the Davao community of talented computer users advance skills primarily with Adobe Acrobat.

What/who inspires you to keep on blogging? How come?

Definitely reader responses. It’s always nice to hear that someone appreciates the efforts I make to help local people in learning more and advancing one’s economic level.

Do you currently monetize your blog(s)? How?

I use AdSense on my blog. I confess. A little money helps when one wants to got to a movie at NCCC or SM malls.

How much money do you usually spend for your blog(s) per month?

Sites are no cost. I have two connections. One with PLDT and one with SmartBro. The SmartBro is only installed to back up the PLDT connection when it fails which is about 3 times a week in the early mornings.
