The Mindanao Blog Directory now has a total of 135 blogs listed as of this writing (still none under the ARMM category though :( ). I’d like to take this chance to introduce you to a number of newly submitted ones — these are blogs by Mindanaoans who now live and blog outside Mindanao. Check ‘em out! Better yet, care to tell the world what you think of them?

Daily Zen Etc Bisdak - English Edition
She blogs about etcetera — personal, recruiting, job orders, computers, software/hardware, PC troubleshooting, finances, every day life, homeschooling resources, photo blog, practical views and much more.
Balikbayan Box
A Dabawenya now based in Vancouver, Canada, blogs about her travels and travails.

what’s on my mind?
A nurse from Davao who now lives and works in the nation’s capital.
Like Clockwork Orange
Jap is currently based in Doha, Qatar, working as a writer, director, editor, PA, entrepreneur… and now secretary, security guard, receptionist, underpaid employee and soon to be workers’ union leader…

If you get to like these blogs — or any blog in the Directory — it would be great if you wrote reviews of them. Help us get the word out, that there are such blogs out there! By doing so, you join hands with us in helping improve the image of Mindanao. And who knows, you just might bag some $$$ for your effort. :)

The You Got Blogged! review-a-blog competition will be online up to 10 October 2007. However, the end date might be moved as we’d like to see more bloggers participate in this unique contest.

    Hi Blogie,

    Thanks for featuring me in this post. I quite often visit your blog only because I am quite busy with work. I am indeed a proud Dabawenya who managed to work here in Makati City. Thank you very much and more power to Mindanao Bloggers. I hope I can attend at the MBS there in Davao City.

    Maan

    Hi there, just wanted to seek some help from anyone here, what places can you recommend for a fellowship night for the BIMP International conference? (except hotels)…

    @maryannrichelle — It was my pleasure. :)

    @chi — This is rather off topic, but isn’t that fellowship night already planned out by now? And, for that kind of event, it would probably best to hold it in a hotel…
