MindanaoBloggers.com’s sidebar space was getting kinda crowded, so I decided to take the site navigation links out to free up some precious real estate. Those links are now in the header area, right below the title.
You’ll notice there’s now a third badge at the top of the sidebar. It’s for the Mindanao Blog Awards. How do you like the logo? It was designed by Andrew, who turns out to have skills not only in programming, but in graphics design as well! We chose the vinta as the representative symbol of the Mindanao Blog Awards because it is one image that is instantly recognizable as “Mindanao” anywhere in the country.
The MBA 2007 page is still in flux — you’ll be able to view the Awards categories and criteria already, but we’re still finalizing the mechanics and other minutiae for the event. Your comments will be much appreciated.
This blog is still accepting contributors / authors. If you’re interested to write for this community blog, drop us a line via our Contact Form. Don’t forget to provide a URL of an existing blog that you write for. If none, we’ll ask for a sample article and we’ll go from there.

Waw, glad you liked the logo. Been a while since I designed anything apart from websites.

Well of course I liked it — and that’s why we’re using it!

I think, that is cool drew and blogie!
The vinta represents the Mindano Blog Awards well! and it incorporates the tri-color! Great!
plus it symbolizes, as I may borrow from “The Dawn” iisang bangka tayo.
I just wish more writers would post their blogs in this site too.
Cheers!

I’m glad you liked it too, inkblots!
Just a clarification, however — this site isn’t for posting other blogs’ content.
