I’m in Cagayan de Oro! My friend Rodney has a speaking engagement here, for the Northern Mindanao ICT Summit tomorrow, and I tagged along for the purpose of touching base with Honey Caragos and other bloggers in this city. I thought I’d take this chance to promote the upcoming Mindanao Bloggers Summit.

Chepay was saying that there are more Cagayan de Oro bloggers. Great! I hope many of them will join the Summit in October. :)

A visit to Cagayan de Oro was one of my activities for the holiday season. I was toured around the city and had the privilege to see the different night spots. We feasted on different kinds of food and drinks. In one of the night spots where I was taken, I was surprised when we reached a place named D’ Sainte Bistro Bar. I did not imagine that I would see a place that I usually see only in Manila. My stay in the bar practically took me back to Manila, with its excellent ambiance and great service. D’ Sainte is a piano bar with class and yet made me feel as if I was home and relaxing. It was a place of soft and relaxing music. Guest were even invited to sing with live accompaniment. The food was equally excellent not to mention the taste of the mixed drinks that they served. Prices may be on the high side, but considering the experience one gets from visiting the place made every cent spent worth it. In fact, I am already planning for my next trip to Cagayan de Oro and made sure that visiting D’ Sainte Bistro Bar is part of my daily schedule. I am looking forward to my next visit of CDO.. . . . See you there!
